Lightning 2 conversion - 11.23.2008, 06:18 AM

afew pics of my finished hotbodies lightning 2 conversion

motor: align 600xl 1650kv
esc: V2 mamba monster with CC bec
battery: MA 4200ss 5cell 35c
battery tray: novak with gorilla max strap
geared: 15x48

im very happy with the performance, the align 600xl motor is a beast and the mamba monster is holding up fine after afew mods.

mikes lsp motor mount fits the buggy nicely

id put some foam servo tade underneath those motor leads, i burned up a brand new motor the frist day after letting the motor wire lay on the chassis and they rubbed bare and shorted the motor across the chassis......

Looks really good, how did you mount you MMM?
