BL-RVO, the oribinal al. gorilla chassis (2mm) come in lighter than the stock e-maxx and is way better for CG.
I counted everything yesterday and I could bring it down to 5.5 to 6lbs with the 4s lipo batts! A 2wd slash weight 5lbs with 2s and 5.5lbs with 3s lipo so
my ultralight maxx is going to kick ass I think!
I've got al turn, al pivot balls, no shifting servo, removed first gears from stock tranny, 4 shocks with trinity heavy springs and 50wt oil, no bumpers, rpm skids, panther komodo tires on claws wheels (145gr each) removed front diff and sliders, al. screws all around
right now i'll put in my 8L but probably a lehner basic ot basic xl soon

Working on:
Twin CF GorillaMaxx (8S motors on 2x2slipo)
2WD AL. GorillaMaxx (7lbs with batteries)
