Happy Turkey Day Everyone! - 11.27.2008, 10:55 AM

Hoping all members, their families have a great day and especially to the MONSTER and his family!

Lets us all remember those less fortunate. Also, for the men and women who are serving our country protecting our way of life who cannot be with their families on this day.

My turkey day is rather fun as well. I NEVER cook as I seem to be able to burn everything, even cereal. But here I am making a multi-course meal. I know it's a success if everyone makes it through the day without too much food poisoning! Good thing I do this only once a year!

I usually make a turkey, mashed potatoes (real this time, not instant), sweet potatoes (yams) with marshmallows, corn (frozen), and dinner rolls. I also make a tray of hor d'oeuvres (green and black olives), pickles, and celery with cream cheese. Eggnog is a must, but don't have any. Poo. My g/f is making some stuff too, but she's the cook of the house (and a darn good one too!).

Me and my brother fried a Turkey today,it was probably the best part of the meal. But Sunday momma's gonna cook her meal, and everything momma cooks is excellent, but her rolls are to die for. Hopefully everyone has things to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving day.Happy Thanksgiving :D

I think my favourite part would have to be pie. Or freshly-shot (today, by me & my dad) quail. Yum!!
