Losi 8 Conversion -

All I should really need for an electric 8ight-b conversion is a RCM motor mount and a battery tray. Is that correct?
Yeah, I know I need a motor and esc too.
Just not all that Tekno V3 stuff. That starts to get pricey considering that I wouldnt need all the Elektri-clutch stuff.

Correct. You can't forget a radio system either.

I would also look at getting a Kyosho 45T Plastic Spur. Apart from Radio/Motor/ESC/Batteries/Charger should also look at getting a few different size MOD 1 Pinions and maybe different shock oil. What motor setup were you looking at running?
Losi 8ight
MMM V1 w/1.20
Airtronics MX3 2.4Ghz
TP 5S 5000mah
Neu 2.5D/F

I'm fairly partial to the Novak stuff. But not sold on their conversion kit.
I also have been considering the Losi conversion and then going with a Losi Xcelorin BL system as well.

I like the losi conversion. I used it in my 8ight B.
Its pretty solid and comes with everything.
the only thing I added was the Kyosho spur (I wanted plastic)
here are some pics;

I used a "bottom" line.
