Sticking with Losi for an 8ight Conversion - 12.07.2008, 12:57 AM

Got my Losi 8ight roller a few days and I am leaning heavily towards running the Team Losi Conversion kit that Mike sells.

Also being given a HUGE consideration is the Losi Xcelorin 1700kv BL combo as I plan to race it. And I guess a 4S Lipo.

I really like the clean look of the Losi system as well as the conversion kit. I hate the way the Novak conversion looks with the battery tray sitting crossed-up. Not that it couldnt easily be changed to sit straight I guess.

I know most guys prefer the Neu motors w/ MMM set-up. But I'm hoping the Losi system will work out nicely for my "track" needs.

Does anyone have any experience with this system being that it's fairly new? Any other tips or suggestions will be appreciated.

Someone mentioned a Kyosho spur gear.....whats up with that?

Thanks in advance.

nylon gears are more quiet than steal and the pinions last alot longer
