CORR body on Truggy? - 12.07.2008, 12:49 PM

Was at A hobby shop friday and saw a slayer body on display and the thing looked HUGE! Does anyone have a pic of one mounted on a truggy? corr truck with a wing would look awesome :)

If I remember correctly, Shawn (TDC57) mounted a Slash/Slayer body onto his truggy... I'll need to look around for the picture he posted of it.

Here's a video of a brushless Xray with a Slash body (not a truggy though). It looks pretty good IMO.

A buggy fits perfectly width-wise, and the tires look more scale. A Truggy is a little wider so the tires may rub on the body (not to mention the tires are bigger/wider). Sure, a truggy has more suspension travel, but you could play with a buggy suspension to be perfect. Here is my MBX5 buggy with a Slash body on it:

I wouldnt want the body to cover the wheels, would look great low slung over a truggy with a wing out the back.

The wheelbase of my matrix truggy is 375mm I think i would definately be unique:)

These are bad ass!! I NEVER even thought about the 1/8 corr body. Great idea guys. As I just opened my first 1/8 buggy for Christmas and have yet to ever drive an 1/8, I am very excited. This makes for a nice custom option.
