However, the 2D, 1Y and 1.5D are all considered too fast for racing by most people. There is a 1/8 electric thread in the rctech forums thats about 500 pages long. When the thread was 200 pages long, everyone had the 1.5D in their signatures. About 200 pages later, they realized the 1.5D and even the 2D were too fast and now just about everyone has switched over to the 2.5D.

For backyard bashing, I will end end up getting the 2650 motor. I think it will be worth the wait.
