You could make one. I heard it's easy for the mechanically gifted and you certainly seems to be . Plans for one are all over the internet and you can even see home made turbines in youtube. I love watching them.

Yup, that's me; I take that tender love-child of a dream and ruthlessly hurl to the cold, hard ground shattering it into countless pieces while cackling maniacally.

And, the truck I was thinking of was not that FG, IIRC it was more shiny with al and more emaxx-like.

these might not be turbines but here is a link from the online store to Tamjet which is a serious rc jet site, about 2/3 of the way down the page they have 2 different plug and play systems...it is one unit which includes the fan, motor and esc...they use a CC HV85 ESC and one uses a Neu 1515 and another a 1521 motor...one is the ds-51 and the other the ds-75

Ok this is almost exactly what I had envisioned when I visited the sprit world! that just freaky!, but of course mine was on a 1/5 scale with a few extras, but that was soo close it was scary!

Thanks for posting up all the videos guys it was awesome seeing all the turbine powdered builds..

At this time I'm now unsure for my 09 build, I hate to do something that has been before, so I'm now exploring other options.. Maybe a 4 motor (ducted fan) hover build or a combination robotics and something!,

I just know it will be Project X material..

Thanks for everybody times and suggestions you’ve been great!..

P.S.
Brian G,
I forgive you!..

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..
