I have never done a controlled test on this but Duracell's would tend to last about 1-2 months max in my TX. The energizer's last easily 4-5x longer. Another the initial bonus is that the initial voltage is higher then alkaline cells and in my TX drop less voltage.

If you can get them for 50 cents each that is a great deal considering what they retail for in stores.
