That really does look like a baja. The main difference I can see is the wheels. I'm trying to get some wheel adapters at the moment so I can run baja wheels on my electric savage.

And yes with a bigger motor and a few more cells possibly I'm sure you can beat the silly weed wackers.

Thanks. It weighs 13lbs rtr. With a 9xl 20/66 gearing and 6s2p a123. I am thinking of of going 6s3p with my new motor, but thats 18 cells. Or maybe just 7s2p if the MMM ever comes out.

i looked at this KB45 and really like it. it makes massive power. it be great for my terra crusher build im about to do. itll be my least expensive build ever! but those motors can make nearly 4k watts... which is friggin huge... great for my 12lbs crusher... but they have a 6mm shaft... i dont wanna try to shave the shaft down so how could i fit a pinion onto that?

you can order 6mm pinions, grind or turn the shaft to 5mm or drill out 5mm pinions to 6mm.

What driveshafts are you using in the 5E? Hopefully not the Traxxas shafts, you'll break those things in so many ways...

MIP cvd's. I was actually going to update this post beacuse I just got my MM. It's going to run a kb10L with 7s2p a123. I'll post picks and a vid when I get it going.
@coolrunnings Very nice. Can't wait to see it finished.

Just found this thread linked from the other 1/5th conversion, looks really good! Have there been any upgrades since?

I was planning on selling my hopped up maxx, but I think I will have a shot at doing a 1/5th conversion. Looks like a lot of fun.

still sorting out the diff. I have the MMM and a kb45-10l and will be using 7s2p a123 cells. I plan on posting an updated video when I repair the diff. Thanks for the complements
