[QUOTE=bubble27;241721]hahah thats massive!....the stock ones pretty near man. its pretty high (compare to crt.5) and is big enough no?

Pics without the shell please. Even if its not finished!
do you think you can fit hyper 9 shocks on this baby?

yeah its pretty big but it looks better in real life..the pics dont realy do it justice..as for the shocks..i have already fitted hyper st pro front shocks to the rear of it. no mods required. just need softer springs(anyone anyone)..as for the front shocks..hmmm..revo?jato? dunno yet..

i will post naked pics of her..just waiting on motor and to tidy up a few things.

i think for the fronts....you shold get a 1/8scale buggy suspension and treat that. Cut it and shorten it.

That will most probs work, ive seen this done on a crt .5

i think maybe it was mugen buggy suspension.

Its on the ofna forum. let me know if you want to have a look

I guess the question is officially answered, I know there is supposed to be a third ofna 1/12 coming. Seen it on one of the magazines, supposed to be a CRT.5 with pillow ball suspension. I plan on all three eventually, one racer on 2s, one with the RC Monster chassis and arms (Yup 1/10 Truggy) not sure on power, the last one will be a 4 or 5s monster Built for massive runtimes

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Nice pics. I really prefer nitro tho but good to see someone working on a mini hyper at least!

The crt .5 chassis is abit more broader. They should of put side gaurds on these little guys tho.
.....the steering arm sticks out too much.

I thought you put hyper st pro front shock on the rear? They seem standard.

yep pbs is crapola...took the luurv bug down to the local bmx track today..now i know its a little truck but man it rips around..was beating hyper 8.5's and other buggys untill the bottom pbs broke in half after a small jump...the other side has heaps of play aswell..so ive got a crt.5 arms comming..hopefully they will fit .(nuthing a demil wont fix).

hopefully hyper brings out some hop ups(c-hubs etc)in the future..

while im at it, what is the steering/servo saver like on the crt.5??wonder if it works better than the stock hyper 12 one....

The crt.5 steering rack / servo saver is a bit of a weak link in that car too. If you run stock buggy wheels and don't get too crazy it's fine, but if you run truck wheels and a over powered motor you will want spares. It also helps a lot to run the drag link in the inner holes on the steering rack. You loose some steering, but rack is a lot stronger. To get the steering back you can buy the aluminum knuckles that have 2 sets of holes. The inner holes get the steering throw back. I've also drilled inner holes in the stock plastic knuckles and this worked well too. In the end I spent the $ and bought the aluminum version. Its been great.
