I think its either a lack of imagination, or women just know that us men (who tend to be on our feet all day at work and what-not) get through socks like theres no tomorrow. I do tend to wear the heels out on my socks quite quickly...

Let's see - 3 dress shirts and 1dz pr of the most expensive socks I've ever owned. Socks again?? Gift certificate for the dress pants to go with the shirts.

Wife knows enough to not buy RC stuff, she doesn't know enough about what I'm into to. So I got a Slash, new Accucell-6 charger, new Team Checkpoint 1030 charger and a Futaba 6EX radio (heli). I'm waiting to order either a BL Flux or a BL E-Revo soon as they hit the shelves, favoring the Flux due to experience with my 4.6SS - never got a B'Day present - BL E-Revo timing looked perfect for end of Oct, but then date was changed so it never happened. Maybe one of these days....

Heh, I got a pair each of Crimefighter LPRs and 17mm half-offset black LPR wheels to compliment the pair of each I got last Christmas .

Otherwise I got a Eagletree V3 data logger, a Scorpion 3032 brushless outrunner motor kit, some clothes, some food, $23, cheap but effective LED flashlight, and other miscellaneous stuff. It worked out well this Christmas for me .

Oh yeah, and keep in mind my parents are also dishing out $10k+ a year just for my college tuition, plus books, all my living expenses, insurance, etc.
