Good news guys. Just added up my funds and it came to $101.50. Hopefully will be getting another $150+ for xmas. Going to order a KB45 8xl tommoro sometime and possibly the BP 125a 7s esc. Ill let you guys know!

I want to know how the KB-45 works out for you. I've been having issues with mine heating up in my Monster GT, but I've lowered the gearing a ton since buring out my 8L and the 8XL may be over-revving. IDK what to do. The stock gearing on the MGT 8.0 is 20/49, but I've been using like a 14/58. lol, much lower...

HURRY! And could you include the gearing you use compare to the stock.

No need to under gear the kb xl motors. I run a 8l in a gtp and it is geared for 50mph. It gets warm, but that is due to the build/material quality. Great bang for the buck with these motors. Gear that bad boy up and see if the temps improve...

im curious to see what kind of speeds hes going to get out of it, i plan on doing the same exact thing with minor changes i found a cheap roller but don't know if i should get myself into it.
