I drilled one hole (counter sunk the hole after drilling) towards the front of the battery tray. I used the other existing holes on the chassis. I am at work now, but will try to remember to take a photo.

Nice conversion.
Did you just screw into the battery holder? Did you predrill it, or just screwed into it? Would tapping for the screws help? I like your layout. |
