Byte:

Don't count on any service from Quark. One person here reported that he finally got his replacement esc after weeks of attempting to contact them. I have called the same # listed by this person (search "Quark" in threads for more info) but didn't have any luck. As well, I have emailed the FedEx airway bill # and transaction report for the returned item showing that they indeed received it at Quarks headquarters, but was again ignored. Maybe you'll have better luck and not have to return anything. And that IS a good deal on a 80B!

Good to hear that that is a good deal

I think I'll only use this ESC on 3S LiPo, so I don't think I'll get a problem with their service... But if it will catch a fire on 3S, I would be very angry

The vendetta people on RCU use 28mm motors like the neu 1100 series in the detta, which is a little heavier then average. The majority of people don't have much luck with the mamba 25, micro pro/sidewinder, or quark. We all use the 1/10th sidewinder or mamba max. Just think, you will never blow your esc. The 1/10th sidewinder doesn't cost much more then any of the other escs either...

Thats another thing. If you've got the room go for a Sidewinder 1/10 ESC. I ran mine in my trinity now with the 4600kv 540 motor on 3s many times. Never had issues with heat.

Service from Quark is the difficult part. I was a dealer and they just started ignoring me.
