Largest pinion possible with RCM Xray 808 mount?

From what I know, Mike usually sets up the mount to work with a range of around 12 to 25 tooth pinions with the stock center gear size. He would have to chime in to be sure though. I havent tested mine wit all of the gear combos. You could go for the optional 41T center dif gear on the 808 and get room for 1 more tooth on the pinion also. Just mentioning to option.

Good luck with the speed project. Make sure you let us know how it goes. Always wondered how fast a sock buggy could be made to go. I got to 60 mph and stopped after that. It was fast enough for me. I saw Edumacated get his up to 68mph I think. It was flyin! (1512/1.5D on 5s Lipo)
