hydraulic braking is the the créme de la créme of braking, way to many parts to make it worth while on a 1/8th. Master cylinder and brake rotors weigh a good 1lb alone. They are necessary on 1/5 to stop fast. Going 90mph into a turn driving a 25lb car you need to stop fast and evenly or its a $500 repair. The 4 or even 2 front, 1 center rear mecanical is for the budget racer (me). It also takes hours to get them set up right to brake how you want, and then hours after each race to fix them again. Tedious stuff
