You CAN shorten the motor wires for the CC neu's.. any motor with stubby leads you cannot because you are cutting into the winding. (as stated above)

I have cut about 1/4 inch off my Neu and about the same off a Medusa and it still runs, did I do the wrong thing?---Jerry
