edit: I snapped a Muggy shock shaft yesterday. They're notoriously weak. The LST2/aftershock ones can be upgraded with TiNi coated shafts(as mentioned before). You can find plenty good deals on these shocks on ebay. The plastic aftershock shocks will be cheaper than the alu LST2 ones.
Thanks for getting those measurement! Saves a bunch of hunting around the net.

I guess I should have mentioned that my diameter measurements were including the spring. I updated my list above accordingly. The LST shocks have the length and throw I want, but may be a hair too wide with springs. The GST shocks are the same diameter and approx throw as the 808, just longer. The Muggy surprisingly doesn't have the throw I though they would.

Hmm, still nothing that suits me perfectly. I could probably use the stock rear shocks and make an tower extension plate to allow for greater ground clearance.

Or, you could simply get an Ultra GTP and convert it. Most of mine was made using RCM parts (battery tray, motor mount, motor, ESC, etc). The only custom things were the top plate and modded radio box.
