The best way that I can see doing the glowplug is using a sub-c cell hooked up to supply power on and off when the motor is starting the engine.

It was in xtreme rc issue 132 and by my understanding they used the ez start and just mounted it on the car and used a lipo to power it. That would be how I'd do it.
