Awesome looking truck! Nice job! Did you make all the mounts yourself? What other custom work was involved? Have you ever owned a HPI baja 5b? How would you compare them? Sorry for all the questions, but you did a great job on it.

Thanks.Yes i have made all the mount myself.
I made the motor mount,Lipo tray.ESC tray and the 10mm shaft.
I made all the mounts separate from each other,so i can remove the motor or the ESC as i like.
And yes i have owned a Hpi baja 5b,loved that car.
But you can`t compare it with the fg.The FG is more a race car with short axle distance, and short shockers.
The Hpi is a bashing car,and a good one to.
Keep the questions comming

Is this Joke? In our tracks Baja 5B dominating always, many drivers took HPI bajas exchanged their FG's. And one major reason is bad suspension! Small by diametre and by travel shocks. Even our FG drivers started discussion about separating 1/5 and 1/6 to different classes which is made last year. And still baja dominates in track because somedrivers shortened wheelbase :) to fit 1/6 class
All this to 2WD cars
I dont lame FG and dont know nothing about 4WD FG. But speak that I heard and see in our tracks :)

I have never tried the 2wd,but i do have a 4wd comp.that is spesificly made for raceing.i had a Hpi baja for 2 years, and that is my personal opinion .
You can not compere the 2wd with the 4wd.but i agree with your opinion on the 2wd case.

OT:
yeah 2WD and 4WD are different worlds no comparsion there. One local guy was fairly good driver on 1/10 2WD stadium truck, he tried 1/8 conversion truggy and he was realy fast and accurate after couple laps. Very stable without mistakes driving. 4WD is much more forgiving for driver throttle and brake mistakes. If you good driver in 2WD class probably you will be better driver in 4WD ;)

Hope to see Video how otrunner works in your Truck. What electrical system specs? Motor? How Many Lipos, Speed Controller?
And allways I am interested in weight how much it lighter or hevier from original version of FG? Probably its to early to ask yet. But I will keep eye on that. Allways liked big car conversions

Saw your build on the Baja forum, looks very good. Definitely get some video of that running.

BTW, pics loaded fine on IE 8 Beta

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
