Looks like fun Matt. I can only imagine the power that thing has on 10s. You must be very gentle on the throttle!!!

What controller are you using to run it on 10S? I would have thought that 10S would be too much for the BigMaxximum (2200KV)? What temps are you getting?

I'm surprised you would run on a golf green.

If I put my brushless buggy down on a golf green there would be some very mad golfers running after me.

You'd think there would be rooster tails of dirt and sod flying in all directions.

Take that thing out somewhere where you can really get on it.

Don't take my comments the wrong way. I love your truck.

I'd like to know the esc too- $10 says he ment 5s2p, with the lipos wired in parallel instead of series.

No lack of power for sure, handling needs attention though (slam it and stiffen it).

they have great Mexicans at this high end golf course next to my casa...they sand and reel all the time...i throw them off my scent by going to differant hole each time(like linc)...i will NOT be using the maxx mulchers again...street tires only!!

i like to run there because it doesn't trash my BLING too badly!!

i use the SCHULZE 18.97 with the two batts in parallel to get 10s(cheeting)....the esc has auto temp cut off at i think 200*,it usually runs 160*-180* on a hot day!

I HAVE THE VIDEO SHIOT RIGURED OUT AND WILL HAVE BETTER VIDEOS TO COME....i have a large sodded yard with a huge 10wide and 10 foot tall jump i made with my bobcat...i am sodding it a lttle at a tme,so far 80% grassed!...sod aproach, sod jump and sod landing ares

Thats a bad ass truck. Ive driven my RCs on a golf course, usually on holidays when the course isn't open. As long as you stay on the fairway and rough and off the greens I don't think you will mess anything up. I don't know about using those tires on 10's on a golf course though. They are named Mulchers for a reason lol

It's a fine model no doubt.
Playing devils advocate though, I have to ask, why 10S?
You're clearly tickling the throttle the whole time which seems kind of a waste.
10S and extreme power is good for the occasional speed run etc but totally impractical for bashing. Your suspension is set very high as well making turn negotiation a gamble at any speed.
With the 2200 setup I would have thought 6S was perfect............... ?

You mean 5s in parallel - because 5S in series would be 10s = 37V - The Schulze 18.97 is rated for a maximum of 18 cells at 1.2v - usually max 22.2V on Lipo - if you wire 37V (10S) you are going to blow this controller up.

Nah, you won't trash it. It's more fun to see trucks flying 70' through the air than seeing them putt-putt (hehe) on a putting green.

Hmm, maybe the putting green does make sense then!

Nah, that's not cheating, that's 5S2P.

Can't wait to see that baby fly! Looking forward to those vids!

Can I have my $10 now?

I think an old runway would be the best place to test this rig out really- open her up and see how fast she can really go.

i know of a very long fairway at the golf course with ultra short grass...i will throw on my street tires and a 70 tooth spur and try to get some speed runs

i will also slam the suspension....the UE stuff has tons of room for adjustments!!!towers, lower arms and differant springs

thanks for the 5s2p info...i always wondered what that 2p stuff was...2 packs in parallel

some one give neil a $10 dime sack!!puff, puff pass!!
