those looked like true A123 cells. HC also sells knock of LiFe cells but they do not perform the same from what I have heard.
As for A123 cells they work just fine in my monster truck. They are a tad heavier but you can charge them so fast with just 2 packs you can run all day. Best way to get the cells are buy a dewalt 36 volt battery pack and havest the cells out of there. You should be able to get them for about 10.00 Highflier HPI MT Racer Brushless Associated rc10t brushless Associated B3 Brushed Tons of airplanes and a few Heli's |
