Thanks a bunch Jordan. We all have our own unique way of doing things. I am having a lot of fun working on the trucks that I have. The double monoblock is working out pretty cool for me. It was a fun Mod and I do believe it will yield me a better handling truck once it is put to the test. I am glad that you got to catch up with things. I will be posting up more soon.

Truckin. - 02.04.2009, 09:06 AM

"Keep on Truckin" was an ICON when I was a kid in the 60's & 70's, and thats just what I am doing. Well it is Wednesday night here in Korea and the RCM-Maxx is finally completed. I just finished making new turnbuckles and setting up the steering so everything is done mechanically. I will try to test it out this weekend and put up some pics as well. I am waiting on a new body for it, which should be here by Friday, and I want to post up some nice photos of the finished product.

This thing is a real monster. Most of it is RCM Maxx stuff like the chassis, hybrid diffs, and Extended suspension arms. I am running the Revo axles and carriers for now with Axial beadlocks wheels, and muslcher tires installed so I can play in the dirt with it. I have done the "Lito" hardened steel hinge pin Mod, the BrianG allen wrench Mod on the input shaft/gears, home made 5mm allthread turnbuckles, MSR8 shocks, twin Dewalt 970 motor Mod, Novak super duty XR ESC, all metal tranny gears, modded RR double disc slipper 65t with 48t stainless steel pinion gears. I am using the TRX radio for testing to make sure that everything is ok, before switching over to the Spectrum DX3R and 3100 receiver. I still have to mount the wing, and trim the new body as soon as it arrives and get it installed. I will go easy out of the gate and use some 7.4v Nm batteries and work my way up from there. This week should be interesting, and hopefully I will have some good news to report after having a little bit of fun finally(Bar any problems). Wish me luck.

Once this one is up and running I will be working on my UE SuperMaxx for the high speed project. 2009 is great.
