I hear ya. I run my Slash that way. If it breaks, I'll just either replace or upgrade that part.

I'm not allowing myself to hop-up my Slash and it's killing me. I'm keeping it bone stock for spec class racing so I'm forcing myself not to install any hop-ups. I swear I'm addicted to RC Hop-Ups.

I was going to keep mine within the mod class rules, but I threw that out the window when I decided to go 4S lipo with it.
