With a motor designed with specific crankcases, ports, timing and exhaust it would work fine. Alas there is no such motor in nitro 2 stroke guise, they are all optimised for n/a operation. As it is it just upsets the fuel/air mixture, making it run lean at the high end (which will give the illusion of better performance, at least until the engine seizes), and any chance for boost is lost as it blows the mixture out of the combustion chamber as both inlet and exhaust ports are open at the same time.

O.S and YS have produced 4 stroke nitro engines with spark ignition, direct injection and roots style blowers before, you can find them from time to time. One of those in a Savage or something would make for an interesting project.
