Today was definitely one of the most fun bashing time I've had in a while! Great weather, dirt was perfect out there today cause of all the rain we've had recently.

MetalMan definitely took home the trophy for most air time! Did anyone try launching off that 30 feet hill after I left? That would definitely deserve to be on video!

Yeah... we pretty much broke everything we brought... but I think metalman still had a functional xtm rage 1/18th at the end of the day...

I was definitely one of the best bashes we had so far. The spot is perfect. Good firm dirt, not a lot of rocks, great terrain features, and the big jump was a monster! I really hope the vids and pics came out well.

I have to say I was really impressed with everyone's builds. Everyone's truck or buggy ran great for a while... then we started messing around with the big jump. There were a LOT of impressive jumps and brutal crashes from everyone. Most of the trucks went down with minor problems like a busted turnbuckle or broken battery strap (and we didn't happen to have a spare). Others were more serious... like Shaun's battle truck after taking one too many jumps off the big one. Seeing his 15lb beast take a 20' jump while smoking and dropping parts everywhere is already in my top 5 best r/c memories.

I'm already excited for the next one! I will definitely bring my spare parts and a soldering iron next time.

What an awesome time. This was definitely my favorite SoCal bash we've had so far. That place was great with all the hills and jumps and grass. And the dirt was perfect with just the right amount of traction. Hope to do it again soon at the same place. Although I finished a little early because I ran out of batteries, it was still great watching everyone's trucks running.

I think it was one of the locals with a baja 5B, but BL_Revo and I almost got crushed by it flying 15 feet up. Just barely got out of the way in time.

See you all soon. Looking forward to more pictures and video.

Did anyone see a yellow box with a clear top with some screws and random parts in it that was left at the bash? I left it there, so if anyone has it please PM me. Thanks.

Yah, we have it. I am pretty sure Travis (MetalMan) took it with him. We figured out right away that it was yours.

I do have to completely rebuild the battle truck… and replace the rear drive line (bent the Xray spring steel pretty good!)

The 808 held up pretty good I need to remount the ESC, replace the battery strap and I beat the beans out the body .. (All in all, minor stuff)

The GEVO will need to have the rear end rebuilt.. as I broke the rear output shaft on the rear diffs, also need to tear into the trans for some reason I only front wheel drive?? I should have 3 wheel drive but on only the front wheel respond??.

Nothing a few late nights a bottle of wine or some screwdriver cocktails wont fix..

I’ll get the rest of the team pics up and video in a few..

P.S.
Yes travis has your yellow parts box BL-RVO

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..
