I would like to know what the real number is. This sure seems kind of "novak" of them.

I am with kulangflow, what exactly is in it for the price difference?
It is a real number from the spec sheets but I agree it is a bogus claim. It is how many controllers are rated and does give a fair best case comparison. However it is very dependent on cooling and the circuit board design and real constant current is typically a lot less.

We tested to 130A continuous and could not shut down the unit due to thermal or failure. That would dump your 5000mah battery in less than 3 min. It has shown to be pretty burley and even impressed us. Time will tell, but I think a lot of people are going to be smiling like we are. The Dual Mode drive is sweet and consistent.

Thanks for that info. I am not trying to be hard on you it's just a lot of manufacturers have left the RC community jaded with bogus, inflated, and/or untested claims. This has been running rampant in the lipo world as well.

I have nothing against tekin, and am happy to see more products coming to market. I just want to know "why" I should buy the controller.

I am a shopper, and like to here "what it has" etcetera before deciding. I never want to heat why the competition is bad, but really what you have to offer. I can comparison shop myself based on good information given.

Valid question I am looking forward to answering shortly. That takes a little thought to really explain what makes us different and mention some specific features and advantages.

Just put mine on back order! RX8 with a 1400kv motor. Should be great with my 6s setup. CC does not have the lower KV motors. I'm hoping the punch control works better then the MMM on 6s also. I like the solder post on the motors and the ESC. The fan plug on the outside is a great design too.
I can't wait to test it!

Thanks for the opportunity to lay it out. In short we make great products with personal commitment, offer them at a fair price and support them.

Currently we truly do stand alone with the only high power system with 40mm multipole motors that are sensored and run sensorless for perfect response in any situation. In addition we really have done a good job with features, size and performance. You can adjust almost everything right on the unit with few quick button pushes and the hotwire lets you really dial it in.

Like all of our products no compromises have been made right down to the dual contact, self cleaning power switch and servo plug that is best we could find for fit and signal quality. We use gold plated solder posts for tight installs and low losses. We have a small PC for a micro that gives us the ability to update and improve the unit ongoing. We buy leading edge components and use super heavy copper power boards. The fan is quick and easy to replace since we know they will break at times and the housing is made of tough Polycarbonate instead of the typical ABS. The Rx8 is the smallest footprint, handles as much power as the batteries can deliver with control and feel.

The Rx8 has a ton of user feedback with the 7 leds to show error codes and help diagnose issues. We show you if there is no radio signal, or we do not like the signal, or it is not changing like when a spectrum receiver will hand us the default neutral when it is not communicating with the transmitter. We have a real time temp monitor so you can look down and quickly know your internal temps and drive off again. We even have a sensor checker that allows you to see if all the sensors are working correctly. The top 3 leds light up with the sensors and you can turn the motors slowly with your fingers and watch them tick away.

It is also backed by Tekin, which means support by people that are as passionate about the hobby as you are. In the near future we are confident it will speak for itself in terms of performance, reliability and overall satisfaction.

Buy Idaho!

speaking of spektrum, has there been any issues with compatability or calibration? I'm running the DX2, and sometimes other escs have arming issues without a programming card. could you speak to that at all?

Testing went very good although we had a lot of silly car issues. New car shakedown and all the typical stuff that someone forot to tighten.

We have not seen any issues with radios or binding. Many of the recievers do seem to need an additional cap. It is always best to keep the reciever wires away from the motor or battery wires for best range.

Turns out it was a 12 pole sensorless motor that we tested with to make sure we could keep up. We did, but it blew up in our Emaxx thrasher in the video on the web.

We are really happy with the 4pole design for sensored and sensorless operation. Everything really is working extremely well and I am very happy at this point.

So it was a 12 pole outrunner then.
