I have different lipos, True-RC, PQ, Zippy-H and Zippy-R all these lipos are different in size, I will do box what will fit them all, and put velcro to bottom to hold battery in place and I will make some straps too to secure it too.
First I will use Deans and manualy connect/disconnect battery.
My objective to archive change time not more than 10sek.
Lets see...

Even so BG I think the efforts and creativity by these two guys is awesome and for sure a great way to recduce times in general. I think your idea of the hinged battery tray is a great idea, and if you can configure the connectors to be solid and problem free that this is a good idea. Nice work and keep up the effort as there will be some who will appreciate what you are trying to do. I like it. I think for the purposes of satisfying the masses you might have to consider making your project from both carbon fiber and aluminum as one is heavier and one is fragile in nature. maybe a combined material would work even better. Way to go guys.
