For sure. I totally agree.

Typically I would never thrash my lipos, esc, or motor like this. Even when doing speed runs, I apply gradual throttle over long distance and only do a few passes. This was more of an experiment than anything else, a one time thing. My usual gearing is 22/68 on 4s and 5s.

The packs held up pretty well though, I think. For the record, the 18.43V was actually at that last 132A spike right near the end of the run. It was 19.88V (3.31v/cell) at the 182A spike toward the beginning.
