Looks good. They aren't necessarily "butt heavy," they are well-balanced compared to most cars. What kind of fuel economy are you looking at with one of those? I drove an '04 back when it was new and it had the sticker on it but I don't remember (20/26, I think).

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

thanks, man - i'm hoping this winter was the last time i drove her in the snow. it's been a while since i drove a rear-wheel drive car. she does better than i expected though - surprisingly, as well as my last car - which was a front wheel drive G6! that thing was HORRIBLE in the snow. made no sense, but it was true.

that sounds about right - i'll have to dig my sticker out to be sure. those numbers fly out the window with my lead foot though... heh.

thanks bdebde... the soft top really is nowhere near as noisy or cold as i thought. not much worse than a hard top, to be honest. but the whole car won't touch snow or salt next winter.... gotta get a beater 4x4 truck.
right you are...you GET A COOKIE

hey scott, how much $$$ are you planning on spending on upgrades?....house?...arm...leg...soul?

Very nice Scott, Those Z's are a nice car. A buddy of mine has on '03 Track Model that i play mechanic for the upgrades. So far we have added a larger plenum, nismo CAI, Nismo catback, Nismo strut bar, technosquare ecu reflash. he just bought a greddy TT kit and has sold the catback today. So I have some wrench time coming and then hook him up with Marco at Billet Design for a custom 3" 304 stainless, mandrel bent exhaust.

oh dicky, you just rattled off my wishlist, lol. but... larger plenum? as in the whole upper and lower unit? or just a plenum spacer? seeing the rest of the list, it's probably the whole unit. i just got a Z1 plenum spacer and a JWT popcharger (it's just a CAI with a heat shield), and i have some resonated test pipes on the way. eventually, i'm getting new wheels/tires, and will probably lower it (coil over shocks). a new exhaust system, someday. then an ECU flash. a twin turbo kit would be sweeeeet, but i don't have that kind of cash. GULP - your friend has some deep pockets! those mods you listed are just about half the value of the car, lol.

The plenum is the whole unit with a polished alu top.

He bought the greddy kit used for $1200 ;)

not a bad price at all...

if your pockets are real deep (about 5K) and your REALLY adventurous, get a pectel ECU and tune it yourself. hehe but really....capability is ENDLESS

wow, no kidding. not a bad price at all!

the worst part of the technosquare ecu flash is that it's not customizable...except by them. but man, i can afford $500 for a reflash much more than the units where you can tune yourself!

dicky, out of all of those upgrades, what made the most noticeable change?
