Evader shocks?? - 12.08.2005, 12:27 AM

Has anyone tried the Evader rear shocks on a E or T-MAXX, 10-14 lbs.?? What is a good shock for a heavy truck?, And don't cost $150+
Thanks, Michael

Evader shocks won't work too well. I found them too soft on the rear of my Rustler.

Have you looked at 1/8 shocks (like for a buggy)? A full set would cost a maximum of $80.

SH Z-Car, Custom Crawler, 8s Savage, 12s XTM XLB 1/7 buggy, 4wd 4-link rear/IFS Pro4 truck, Custom Hyper 10 Short Course, Belt-Drive Mammoth ST 1/8 truggy, 4s 17.5 MM Pro HPI Blitz

I've gone from stock to pro-line to UE racer-x and of the three the racer-x are far and away the best in performance, adjustability and durability. I'm not sure about the price but they work great and come with a great selection of springs for various weights and track types.

I would go either proline or ue. The ue are Back buggy shocks. You can run 4 in place of 8 of most other shocks. I have the ue and love them. I have bought 3 sets of 4 for 2 trucks.

Peace!
