max voltage on BK ? - 12.09.2005, 07:03 PM

Will the BK 20 cell controllers (warrior or micro) handle 6S lipo without getting too hot?

Thank you
DAF

They should. 6s fully charged is 25.2v, and 20 NiMh cells fully charged are around 27.5v. 20 NiMh cells nominal are 24v, 6s Lipo is 22.2v. As long as you get a controller that can handle the amp draw, it will be fine :).

yep, it could handle it. the controller really didn't get hot in my case, it's the motor that heats up. maybe cause i'm using 7xl lol

i can't believe the 9918 on ebay went for 182$. people are desperate
