I have seen 18 cells on a 8L. It just really screamed out the rpms. I guess it is hard on the bearings. The motor is still running to today.

Still I don't think the motor or controller would like the 66360rpm
And its to hot then it wil terminal sutdown
I still would go whit lets say the 8 or 9XL
Then you now for sure it won't overheat.
