Better bearings for 36 50 3.17 shaft v2? - 03.29.2009, 11:50 AM

I keep killing bearings in my v2 3300 36 50 in my slash. The first time the endbell popped off and killed the bearings. Medusa waranteed it and now a month later I can hera the bearings going again.
I completely sealed the motor and use a large heatsink. Motor runs about 140ish.

Does anyone know what size bearing this motor takes and if i can get better ones that will last. I love the motor but this is a pain. The 60mm in my e revo just keeps trucking but this one is giving me a hard time.

Brushless ..... I put that s... In everything.

Stock bearings should be a 5x11, try a Boca bearing to see if that will last any longer. While you're at it, replace the bearings in your transmission, spur gear, drive wheels, etc. to make sure there isn't something else causing the problem. My Muggy puts a lot more stress on the bearings than your Slash and I've driven it pretty hard but the bearings are still great.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
