Mambafied Hyper ST Pro - 03.31.2009, 02:09 AM

Okay, after the IGT conversion I had to convert my Hyper ST as well. I've had this truck for a year but I never ran it so nitro never touched it. Got to test it today and all I can say is "wow". I can't believe how much power this thing was putting out, I was using 4s lipos (zippy-H) and it was popping wheelies, I can't imagine how it will do on 6s. It had so much power that I actually almost lost a wheel Anyway this truck is awesome brushless & I can't wait to run it again.
Here's the specs:

RCM Hyper mount
RCM battery tray
Novak 14t mod 1 pinion
Mamba Monster 2200kv combo
Zippy-H 4s Lipos
Axial 40 series beadlocks wrapped in Pro-line Roadrage 40s

Thanks, it was a fun build, I can't believe all the nitro parts that came off of it. The wheels look massive but they're not any bigger than the original that came with this kit but it is wider which gives the truck a mean stance

Very nice. Seems like STs are becoming very popular. I want another one.

STs are great truck, esp for the price. I love how they turn to. Had mine for a year and haven't broke anything either. Can't beat that!

Thanks for the compliments, it took some time to think of a cool paint scheme for this truck and I think the green/black turned out great. Also I noticed when I was testing the truck out that the front tires kept ballooning and popping my left front tire off, so I put a heavier weight diff oil in the center diff, hopefully this solves the ballooning problem.
BL_RV0 how come you got rid of your ST? I was reading your thread and seems like you put a lot of time & effort into building it which turned out really cool by the way. Just curious why you sold it.
