LOOK! My new Lambo body is done! - 12.14.2005, 07:01 PM

Finished my Diablo body last night. Wasn't sure how well it was going to fit but it fits perfectly. I cut out some of the vents as you can see, like the scoop on the roof and hood, sides in front of the back wheels and on the back below the tail lights for some airflow.
I also added the carbon fiber plates on the sides to cover the 14cells on each side from showing.
Don't usually like the car body on a truck look but this thing will probably never see the dirt.

It looks suprisingly good. The CF shock towers match the shell so well, like it's part of it.

Good work. :)

Where do you get that gause/grill type stuff? (On back of shell).

The Jato shocks on the wheelie bar are really neat. I like the look of the whole thing. For some more nice pics, you should consider making those tires shiny too :)

That's the only bad thing with the G-Max chassis (looks wise) is that it does make things more visible because of the lower sitting chassis. That is why I put the carbon fiber plates there so I couldn't see the batts.

Nick-
The stuff on the back is just screen mesh for your house windows. Got it at the local hardware store.

I think I drive this more than my real truck!:D
It's just too heavy to be driving off raod. I've got my other trucks for that. Maybe when I get my LiPos I will take it offroad. That should lighten it up a couple of pounds.

Do you have a video of you truck john? I like to see the twin power in action. I like the body. I think it looks good. The carbon trick made the difference. I am proud. :D

Peace!
