You guys will get twice the power with a neu over those hot mamba motors. There's a turnigy 28mm 3900 motor that will blow the mamba motors away. I know a couple people that use it and they haven't had any problems with it. The medusa is cheaper then the neu, and with both motors at 28mm, the medusa puts up a hell of a challenge to the neu. At the 8th scale the neu has a 4mm advantage... I say get the medusa.

In a Recoil those 28mm fit, but still a little too big for them. There's no need to go that big in a RC18. The 180 size motors do tend to get hot, I've raced against people who uses them and some got so hot that they smelled like banaid due to the sticker almost melting off.
