With the 3905 chassis, they (for some reason) designed it to work with a single steering servo, in which case there wouldnt have been any issues with the linkages hitting the braces and such. Obviously, people buying the 3905 FLM chassis for their 3905 trucks would more than likely still want to use the dual servo setup- hence the issue discussed as you pointed out, and hence the redesign.

I thought you were griping specifically about the flextech arms not fitting the FLM bulks- thats not so suprizing though as they (Flex techs) use special bushings to make the arms fit the hinge pins, and those bushings can cause issues with some bulks (there are many varying designs of the hinge pin supports, so you cant blame FLM for that).
