losi 8ight 2.0 conversion. Body question... - 04.15.2009, 05:26 PM

hi.. i bought a losi 8ight 2.0 race roller and the conversion kit by losi.

i don't buy directly the losi 8igth-E because in Europe there isn't yet...

but.. i install the kit and try the car, simply wonderful, just a problem with the body..

i use 2x 2s lipo by Energy 25c 5200 mAh, same size of trakpower packs, but body touch on the lipo packs and don't go in place good.

i bought also a Bitty Design body for losi 8ight but it's the same, a little better, but not fine yet..

how do u resolve this inconvenient? there are some highe body mount to buy??

many thanks guys....

The Losi 8ight-E body has taller sides to clear the batteries. I had to get one for my setup.

Here is a link.....they will send it to you from the US. They are out of stock right now but they refill their stock pretty fast.

The 8ight-E body is also the same as the 8ight-E 2.0 body.

It sounds like you will have to order from the US and have it shipped to you in Europe. If you don't want to do that, then I wish you luck. I just got an e-mail from JConcepts and they said the Losi 8E body will be out in early May so if your patient, you can order it from them

What about the 8ight-T 2.0? Will a 1.0 body fit if I use the 1.0 mounting posts or will the body be too short?
