All of the driveline is still smooth and operating normally, so that wasn't it. I am thinking the problem might have been the shaft "float", but I am not sure.

Mike, I have already hammered the mount flat again, do you still want me to send it in...or will you allow me to send it in for replacement still? I don't really want to run the mount anymore since I know that bending aluminum back into shape weakens it. Please let me know and also give me the address to send it to (if it's ok to send it back still), and I will get it sent out in the morning. Thanks, Mike...you really are the best!

On a side note, what is the highest gearing I can run without overheating anything? Apparently 15/36 is just way too torquey, heh!
