it does look good BUT i say let 1/8 scale BE 1/8 scale dont redesign the car to run on tiny tracks w/ electric power. just an opinion though. we will see if the plastic chassis will hold up to the thrashing. also i dont really see how it will be balanced with anything more than a 3s hardcase

havent had time to race lately been working weekends, but i got a chance to practice for a few hours at ocrc on thurs. night. ran the car on 4s with my 1512 3d geared for ~30mph (17/44). was plenty of power for the tight track and temps were good after 15 mins of running 110 batt 100 mmm and 140 motor. 16/44 is probably where i will end up as it is right where i need to be on 4 and 6 cells. motor is working quite well with both voltages and the MMM is holding strong. using the auto lipo cutoff, works well as long as you ALWAYS use a fully charged pack and count the beeps to be safe. no problems here with all that and it makes running at two diff size tracks much easier for the lazy lineman

I finally made it out to the track with my MMM 2200 kv on 4s in my truggy. it outpaced all but one nitro truggy (damn factory team drivers) temps were 130 on battery, 155 on the motor, and unknown on the esc.. ambient temp was 95 degrees. Im very impressed with the MMM system

good to hear! dont worry about the factory drivers, they are factory cause they are FAST! no matter what. i got beat by a factory driver on 2 cells in a D8E and a novak 4.5 insane!

castle done it again...1st 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th all were runnin MMM + 2200kv combo's today

the speed passion "arrow" 1/8th ESC shat itself in fear (let smoke out)

i was running 4-5s on a converted revo 2.5 (3905 style) on 16/68 gearing.
temps never got over 120...which is surprizing, but it was a 60-68 day.
i got 4th overall. pretty happy considering it was the first day out on a REAL track (the club goit a brand new track so EVERYONE sucked all day..and the buggies..well they just got owned!!)

much fun...thank you castle!!

Check it out. http://www.casterracingusa.com/forum...ead.php?t=1358
I am still running a V1 every weekend. My system runs strong and cool. My Neu 1512/2.5df is 3 years old running every weekend.
