It's a RS kit with an electric AE conversion. Not a bad start at all, especially if you're on a budget. I still prefer a FT kit with Mike's chassis, but if you don't have almost $800 to throw down on that, get the RC8Te kit and go from there.

Heh, Ive been eyeing those also, but the SC8e version...cant decide though, the regular truggy seems nice too. Seems like a cheap way to get in, only sticking point is the short battery tray. But this battery seems like it would be good for the Associated kit.

I was eyeing one down at the hobby shop for a while. I decided to go the conversion route...
