Hobbywing 150A Ezrun esc review

Thats great,at first 80A smoked then 150A smoked also.
This was powered by 4S lipo and recently I've loaded latest firmware from HW.
They should rename their escs to Hobbywing Fireworks


I believe I will pay a little more and get a Tekin.

What was the last setting like? Did u change the punch to zero?

mine stop working 2 days ago.
when i put the switch on the fan doesn´t work and the light on the esc shine solid red...
after a few tests with the esc case open i descover that th internal bec don´t work.
i will upgrade it for a better one and when i test the esc again i will post if is full working again.

if it's not working take a pix n send it to hobbywing they will send u a new one. I just got mine with free heatsink n fan:)

thank´s for the tip but i have a race next week and i need the esc, i will try to fix it my self with my litlle experience.
can this esc work with 4 pole motors like neu or medusas?
i am looking for a new motor for my e-revo but want a eficient and cooler motor....

Yes, I m using a medusa in fact it's better just remember not to set d punch to zero, no drag brakes n put a fan on the motor.

my batteries are not much strong on discharge capabilities and i really like the novak hv 5.5 sensored i´ve run on track...
now i am on a indecision in what motor to choose....
i still continue with novak, feigao or medusa in my mind....
but for 4 s and weak batteries and longer run times on track what you advise?

I burnt 2 feigao they r cheap but 2 poles can't last in high temp. Medusa is a better n cheaper option compared to Neu. I race with my medusa n they hv lasted n r good in customer service.

I run 10mins heats n 30min mains no problem with my 4s 5000 zippy. How long r ur race n wat car r u using?

No.With this one all settings were default (punch and timming).

If it's really not working send jack a email he will send u a new one with new firmware:)
