My question is about efficientcy. If the setup will run more efficient on higher voltage (cooler temps), there is no reason not to. It will only go as fast as I pull the trigger. Which means that any stripped gears are due to too much throttle. As Ryan would say, "No such thing as over-powered"

Leaning with 6s now, but would like to get a few more opinions first. To be honest, I wouldn't mind more runtime. Temps are the only issue. If I am not able to run through 7k plus on 4s without going into thermal, no reason IMO.

very true.....

So Ben, what do you suggest? 4, 5s? I wasn't really considering 6s THAT overpowered. It is technically a "stock" setup. Also, what would you say about the efficientcy?

THe highest efficiency motor is nice. but doesnt make up for bad gearing choices etc and other things.. i say 4s and the cc2200... you will be suprised at how much power it has.

I am with you there Ben... I know you run 4s on your truggy. Granted it is a bit lighter I'm sure 4s would push it around fine.

I need to watch more 4s vids... i also sent a youtube guy (trxmh) a P.m. asking what he thought of his 4s and 6s setups.
