Which esc can handle heat better? Same setup (speed, vehicle, motor, cell count... etc)different esc. Which esc will run cooler?
I have only used the SP Esc in a buggy so I have no data for MT use. Both Esc's run about the same heat in the buggy. Personally, I would recommend running 6S in a MT or Truggy so my vote goes to the MMM for this. The SP Esc should be fine if you plan to run a sensored 4S motor though.

yes the drag brake can be set VERY strong and easily by remote the only adjustment you MUST have the hotwire for is to adjust the timing and to put it in sensored only mode (if you need this) other wise it runs all sensored motors in dual drive mode.

again sorry for yapping about something off topic.

I have an FX-R and the programming works the same via remote as the other tekin ESC's. It is very simple to do and there is a set of LED's on the front of the ESC which make it quite simple to see where you are at in the programming. This is a very nice feature for sure. The drag brake for mine with a brushed motor is very nice.

You guys don't know what your talking about, especially starcream.

You don't know the meaning of power until you get your hands on one of these, and this is just the prototype.

I am chomping at the bit waiting for this to come out. I saw some spy shots of it at RCX but supposedly it was going to take a year to get to the masses. I like all of the moving parts and the non proportional throttle has me stoked! Plus that big heat shield is very sexy.
