You are also running a smaller motor then the CC one that is included with your esc. Not knowing you, or your driving abilities: maybe you need some more time getting used to the power? Do not take offense to this, I am sure i would do horrible if i ever did enter a race. But as far as the setup goes, it all seems good. At least IMO.

edit: for a neu, that seems a bit high (temps wise). esc also. For now, i would blame that 6000 mah battery. That's quite a bit of playing time.
The CC2650 is a rebuild of the exact motor that he already has.

There are practically books of information on the rc-tech forums on what motors are ideal for racing. The motors of choice for 4s were UNDISPUTEDLY the neu 1512 2.5D 2050 motor and even the 1512 1.5y 1850 kv motor for short tracks. Now that Tekin has come out with their T8 motors, (the 4030 motors are the same size as neu 1512 motors) many who have a 2.5d or 1.5y neu are switching over, and unsurprisingly the motors of choice for 4s are the 2050 and 1900kv motors which are 2.5D and 1.5Y winds respectively.
