ok cool then I wont go with the hassle of desolder and resolder all this...

it is more used for 5s to 6s applications right ?

Only if you are pulling a lot more amps. High voltage will be less affected by a bit of resistance than low voltage, if your total power usage stays the same.
The size of wire you need is more related to your amp draw than voltage, and I doubt you will be able to pull enough current in a slash to really worry about bigger wires. I say leave it.
