Funny, never thought Tamiya as a real offroading company.

Looks like a ERevo almost ^_^

And of course it has a bathtub chassis (Like the TT01), and it's shaft driven.

looks nothing like an e-revo. if you want a tamiya truggy get the 801xt... That thing looks a half step above toys R' us spec.

It's 1/10th so I would hardly put it in the 1/8th truggy class. Also the XB series are generally targeted to hobby novices and not true racers and/or experienced hobbyists.

I am sure being tamiya and all it is well built but probably lacks some performance and handling characteristics that other trucks have. I also would like to know when people will give up on nimh technology for BL applications.

I saw that too, well, how the body looks, kind of reminds me the of the Revo's body, but that's hardly something.
