there is a much simpler way but I don't feel like thinking.

plug in your numbers to BrianG's speed calc for the e-maxx trans http://www.scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/index.html

find your top speed. then trial and error pinion teeth until you match the desired top speed.

also I need you to make me two sets of lst diff to maxx bulk adapters. One for me and one for the PIF maxx. PM will come eventually................

Yep Thank you. I just found that, tried doing just that
got a the same 2.76 as the old emaxx tranny but dont know the final output, IE tranny is 1.72 + 2.76 spur/pin.

Edit ADD)
I just found the "Total Reduction" for the emaxx setup- 15.73:1 . spur/pin 2.76:1 . speed 29.5
so a Losi center diff with a 46/10 = 15.12 total reduction speed 30.5

So I'm going to try out 45/13 is a total of 11.4:1 . spur/pin speed 40


I'll be happy to make you some adapters Cheap for helping me out
